The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit board voted unanimously on Wednesday to appropriate the funding for the Petaluma North station located near the Corona Road and North McDowell Boulevard intersection.
Construction is estimated to begin in the summer. Passenger service is set to start in the fall of 2024, according to SMART staff.
